“ROCK PAPER SCISSORS”
Rock Paper Scissors, who on earth does not know this game? In my case its like my first game I ever learned and this game played in all ages I believe. For young ones it is usually played to know the person who be the stake in the game and usually for adults it is used to settle things between each other, it is easiest way to straighten things up.
Rock wins to Scissors but losses to Paper, Scissors wins to Paper but losses to Rock and Paper wins to Rock but losses to Scissors. Whoever invented this popular game really have nice logic (haha) and really did good job. But why other people are so good with this, is it purely luck or does it have a strategy or trick behind it? I want to learn so that I could win any bet haha its a joke but learning some trick make you look cool, isn’t it?
The book Rock Paper Scissors by Len Fisher is a game theory book, it looks amazing at first thanks to my subject Math 1 I discover some quite interesting book. And Len Fisher write the book in human way I mean where people could understand book easily not so Mathematical language.
The book is well presented it let us learn about the sense of fairness-one of our most powerful childhood drives. As a child in order to free from envy-ness we want fair and square decision. The theory of I Cut And Choose You to minimize your maximum possible loss may help you to decide in fair manner.
The book provided different theories about the game Rock Paper Scissors but basically the game is just about to have a equal chance to win, to lose or ending up being tied.
“The psychological appeal of the game is that both sides feel that they are in control because they have a choice of moves. This means that if they can work out what their opponent is likely to do, they can always pick a play that will beat it” (page 93)
